We are looking for volunteers to help with several SCEC events so we may provide the best experiences possible for our membership. Please review the items below and sign up to help us out if you are able to do so for this years annual BBQ. Thank you.
1. GROUNDS CLEAN UP: Friday - Sept 20 - 5:00pm-6:00pm Grounds clean-up. (IF NEEDED)
2. SET-UP: Saturday, Sept 21, 8:30am - Done. Get tables and chairs from storage, Bring to to field locations and set up, set up 10x20 tents for food service area. 4 VOLUNTEERS
3. MUSIC COORDINATOR - Set up Bluetooth System System, Create a playlist that can be streamed between 12pm - 4pm. Monitor miusic streaming during the BBQ. Music be be for all ages.
4. SET-UP and COLLECT GARBAGE & RECYCLE CANS - Saturday, Sept 21, 10:00am Label grabage cans RECYCLE and GARBAGE, put bags in cans, periodically check to make sure they are not overflowing. At end of day collect garbage and put in dumpster. Collect recycles and place near building (Frank M. will take) 2-3 VOLUNTEERS
5. ICE and DRINKS: Saturday, Sept 21, 9:00am - PICK UP ICE, put coolers at end of food service area. Fill coolers with DRINKS and ICE 1-2 VOLUNTEERS
6. SERVE FOOD: Saturday, Sept 21 - 12:00-3:00pm (or when food runs out) * Food Handlers Permit Required. https://doh.wa.gov/community-and-environment/food/food-worker-and-industry/food-worker-card SET UP FOOD, Serve food, refill serving dishes, etc. (Guests do not serve themselves, we put food on their plate). Coleslaw, Meats (Frank H), Slider rolls, Dessert, etc.) NEED 4-5 VOLUNTEERS
7. GREETER TABLE: Saturday, Sept 21 from 12:00 TO 3:00pm
Greet and check in members, give door prize tickets for a free membership, enroll members that are expired or collect $10 ea for BBQ. Provide informational materials, 2024 accomplishments & 2025 plans/projects, Sell Bricks, etc
FORMS NEEDED: BRICKS Purchase, VOLUNTEER forms, MEMBERSHIP Form
Need 2-3 Members/Volunteers/Board members for this table (1-2 hr ea).
8. CLEAN UP CREW: Saturday - Sept 21, 4:15pm-done - Wipe Clean & Return tables and chairs to storeroom, take down canopies, collect serving items that need washhing, take inside, wash and dry. Last person at Greeter table, collect all paperwork and give to Rick or Kurt to put in office. NEED 6 VOLUNTEERS (some of these takes 2 people)
